The enterprise mobility expert trains IT professionals in Hamburg.

Hamburg, June 14, 2017 – As of today, the enterprise mobility expert ISEC7 Group (ISEC7), located in Hamburg, Germany, is an Approved Training Center (ATC) for the Credentialed Mobile Device Security Professional (CMDSP) by The Mobile Resource Group, LLC. Together with their partners, CMDSP works to train and certify IT professionals that are tasked with managing the mobile device usage of an enterprise; instilling a strong understanding of the vulnerabilities and security risks of mobile devices. At the end of the course, participants obtain a mobile security certification: the CMDSP credential. By becoming an ATC, ISEC7 actively supports CMDSP in the European market.

Marco Gocht, CEO of ISEC7 Group AG, says: „We are happy to be part of CMDSP. With the increased use of mobile communications in companies, we need to take a new look at the security aspect of company data. CMDSP was created to educate, promote, and certify Mobile IT professionals that are responsible for creating, maintaining or implementing enterprise mobility systems.”

CMDSP’s parent company, Mobile Resource Group, LLC, partners with selected quality organisations to offer the course. Since ISEC7 has been supporting companies with special security requirements in the area of enterprise mobility for many years, CMDSP is the perfect partner for training credentialed IT professionals. As an ATC, ISEC7 will share its insights and knowledge with the attendees. At the end of the course, the IT professional will possess a better understanding of the challenges, solutions, and tools inherent in overseeing the use of mobile devices within their enterprise.

CMDSP

A CMDSP credential (https://cmdsp.org) shows employers that the individual can manage the mobile devices for a workforce within an enterprise in a secure manner. Our certified professionals are committed to protecting the institutional data, information, and knowledge on mobile devices; from smartphones, to tablets, to IoT devices. Mobility can mean more risk – but the CMDSP program and credential mitigates the risk of allowing an organization to utilize smartphones and tablets within an enterprise.

The Mobile Resource Group is committed to making mobile computing more secure. Smartphones are capable of holding more critical corporate data and personal information than ever before. While the platforms running on these mobile devices are well put together, even the most secure systems can be compromised when put under the wrong conditions. The security risk of a mobile device being compromised is the leak of personal information such as contacts, social media and email accounts, credit card numbers, and every file downloaded onto the phone. In a world where over two-thirds of Americans have smartphones – and with smartphones increasingly being used in the workplaces – the chance of data being compromised becomes inevitable. This is where CMDSP comes in. The Credentialed Mobile Device Security Professional (CMDSP) credential offered by the Mobile Resource Group promotes knowledge of mobile devices, securing data on those devices, and securing environments for mobile devices.
